How Axion Roofing works

The owner does the inspection
Flori climbs the roof and enters the attic on every estimate. Axion Roofing does not send a commissioned salesperson who has never installed a shingle. - 02
Scopes are written, not verbal
Every quote names the underlayment, the ice and water membrane coverage, the ventilation count measured against the National Building Code, Alberta Edition, the flashing details and the shingle class. You can hand that document to another contractor and compare like for like. - 03
Deficiencies get photographed before they get covered
Rotted sheathing, blocked soffit intake and failed flashing get photographed during tear-off and reported before the new material goes on. - 04
Details get rebuilt, not sealed
Axion Roofing replaces step flashing, counter-flashing, valley metal and stack boots during a replacement instead of relying on sealant to carry a detail for the life of the roof.

Why Calgary specifically
Calgary sits at the centre of Hailstorm Alley, the corridor running from High River north through Calgary and Red Deer to Lacombe. The August 5, 2024 hailstorm produced $3.25 billion in insured losses and more than 130,000 claims, which the Insurance Bureau of Canada ranks as the second-costliest insured disaster in Canadian history. Alberta accounted for $4.1 billion of Canada’s severe weather losses that year.

What Axion Roofing does not do
Axion Roofing does not waive insurance deductibles, which is fraud under Alberta law. Axion Roofing does not collect a deposit at the door after a hailstorm. Axion Roofing does not shingle over an existing roof, because it hides deck damage and voids most manufacturer warranties.
